When you first start playing the cello, it is common to look at your finger placement. As we start needing to follow along with the music, it is important to stop looking at our fingers and more at the page. Practice with Josh getting into a good habit of looking at the music on the page and learn to rely on the feel of our fingers. Build physically awareness of distances between our fingers, and our hand and elbow position to build confidence in our position and finger placement. Build and confidence in looking away from the fingers.
